LAKE RECORDS Mirror Carp 33lb 4oz Common Carp 32lb 8oz Chub 7lb 14oz Perch 3lb 14oz Manor Farm Lake - Day Ticket Similar to St. Johns but does not hold the head of carp.Noted to have produced the biggest carp on the complex but has the reputation of being that little bit harder and more of a challenge. Carp to over 40lbs, tench over 10lbs, bream over 13lbs and pike over 27lb. Successful methods on this water have been very similar to those outlined for St. Johns. When it is quiet the carp do like the margins and fishing close to the bank should never be ruled out. Neither should fishing on the surface. Linear plan to stock, annually a selected number of good, fast growing carp to the water and do expect Manor to maintain its well deserved reputation as the site's 'big fish' lake. Other fish should not be neglected on Manor Farm. The waters hold a big head of tench, pike and rudd which have provided top class sport for those who have fished for them. LAKE RECORDS Mirror Carp 42lb 10oz Common Carp 32lb 2oz Pike 27lb 3oz Bream 14lb 2oz Tench 10lb 6oz St Johns Lake - Day Ticket One of the best day ticket waters in this country. In terms of carp fishing it would be hard to find a more prolific venue. Many anglers have improved their P.B. The best of the commons was recorded at 32.02 and the best mirror at 34.10. These are backed up by hundreds of other carp, many of which are twenty plus and a high percentage of these are 28lb plus and a good number of these are expected to reach thirty later this year. Linear claims that St Johns is probably the most prolific twenties day ticket water in the country.
